Due to high demand an extra event has been scheduled in Leek on 11 March from 7 to 9pm at St Edward’s Church of England Academy on Westwood Road.

North Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent CCGs want to know local people’s views about proposed changes to:

  • Community-based services in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Moorlands
  • Community hospital beds available for rehabilitation
  • Some of the consultant-led outpatients clinics such as outpatients appointments for skin conditions.

This event will be a workshop event where participants can:

  • Find out more about the consultation and why change is needed
  • Give their views on key questions
  • Join the discussion and add their voice to consultation feedback.

Its important people get involved; these proposed changes may impact on local people, their friends, their family and people they care for.

People are being encouraged to have their say before the consultation closes on 17 March 2019 with the official online survey or by requesting a hard copy survey to complete and send back via Freepost.

The survey can be accessed at: https://www.elesurvey.co.uk/f/615263/1536/ or via our website where you can also find out more information and read the consultation document https://www.healthservicesnorthstaffs.nhs.uk/

We have a number of other public events taking place in February that have spaces available and give people the opportunity to ask questions, give their views and let us know what they think about the proposals.

The events are being held across Northern Staffordshire at venues that have been selected and tested with community representatives to ensure they are as accessible as possible and provide as many people as possible with the chance to attend.

Public events - All events run from 7-9pm with registration from 6.30pm. To book on any of these events go to: https://www.healthservicesnorthstaffs.nhs.uk/events
