Could you be a patient voice in Stoke-on-Trent to help shape future NHS Services?
At Stoke-on-Trent Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), we want to make sure that a wide range of patients’ views influence our decisions on the services we commission. Our Patient Congress is one of the ways we do this.
There will be several vacancies on the Congress from April 2018 and we are looking for new members of all ages and backgrounds; people who care about health services and want to make a difference.
What’s it for?
The Patient Congress is a patient-led forum that puts forward the views of the local people about the quality and delivery of local health services. Feedback from the Patient Congress helps us to make sure we commission high quality services that meet local needs.
If you are registered with a GP practice in Stoke-on-Trent or work for a community group in the area, and you have an interest in the NHS, then being a member of our Patient Congress could be the role for you.
Patient Congress membership involves a commitment of up to 50 hours per year, including attending evening meetings. Expenses are reimbursed, along with an attendance payment.
